How to update rom sets ... simple guide

Well ... a simple guide i need ... i have the full set of 0.139 in mame roms folder ... then inside there i have a "0.139 to 0.140" folder contains the update roms ... and a last folder called "0.140 to 0.140u1" with the same update files ... i have the 0.139 dat file 0.140, 0.140u1 too ...

now ... ? how can i combine all of them to one 0.140u1 ??? with romcenter with a simple way?

- Manually copy all files from 0.140 and 0.140u1 rom paths to 0.139 (your master MAME folder). If some files already exist, DO NOT overwrite them. With this step, you copy all games that are new in 0.140 and 0.140u1 (did not exist in 0.139) to your master folder.
- Create a 0.140u1 database from the mame.exe.
- Add all 3 folders as rom paths.
- Press the "Fix" button on the "full set of 0.139 rom files" rom path. In this step, RC will search for rom files that are missing from the 0.139 set in the other two folders and copy them to the games in the 0.139 folder.
- After the previous step has finished, you can remove the 0.140 and 0.140u1 rom paths from the list and do a refresh in RC. You must now have a complete 0.140u1 rom set.
