Hi

Try a clean reinstall. I never had this error myself, and I'm not aware anybody has. It should be related to your pc configuration.

I get the same error with 3.58, or, more exactly in Spanish:

"Error en Xml: El nombre de la propiedad no es válido"

WIN XP SP2 with no internet conection and very few programs installed in the HDD since it was recently formatted, in case that matters. Tried reinstalling it and it's not solved. Any help would be appreciated.

...Checked with RC 355 and 357 portable versions and I get the same error. Romcenter seems to open after that prompt, though it can't create a ROM list to work with from MAME or a data file -- a huge "warning summary" log is created instead.

Can you post more infos about this problem ? (pic, logs)

Try a clean install with default settings and then tell me exactly what you did.
Thanks
