Em whats this and how it work

Help:

I have a mame 32 emulator. I started it up with the manager and clicked prefences. I then chose the emulator mame 32. I found the mame v0.81 data file. I found the rom file i wanted and clicked play. It said no playable files for this game. you need to create a file or fix, and exsisting one. My mame 32 emulator has the rom in it's list it is displayed in rom order excactly like the rom center application. Hellp please!!!!
