Eric will answer that. I'll just say that i'm using it under Win7 SP1 x64. Also:

That is bad, this means Romcenter will not run on Windows XP.

Yup. I don't know if RC actually uses any feature of .NET 4.5. I guess if it doesn't, it could be turned over to .NET 4.0 so it would be compatible with XP. I don't have any high hopes though...

It has been developed using .net 4.5 from the start. I'm quite sure it won't work with 4.0. And XP is now outdated anyway

Yes, I know a lot of persons are still using XP...
I can try to switch to .net 4.0 and see if it compiles...

I would be curious to see if it compiles, even though i don't use XP as my main OS anymore. If you haven't used any extreme .NET 4.5 - specific features, it might work...

BTW, i've read that those statistics are so high for 7 for two reasons: 1st, most people really don't like 8 and 2nd and most important, they've recently started buying 7 licenses because they're cheaper and since MS said they would offer Win10 for free for WIn7+ users...

It's almost done for .net 4.0
It still has some bugs to fix, but I think a new beta will be out by this weekend.

It starts, but quickly crashes. Probably some dll dependency problems...
I'm currently applying all KB patches to my xp.
