Split Samples option disabled

Split Samples option disabled

Hey Eric,

What could be the reason for "Split Samples" option being disabled? I remember a similar issue in RC 3.55...

EDIT: This happens even though i have added both the main rom path and the samples path as rom paths, but there is no way to select one of them as Samples path (Split Samples option, combobox and the button next to it are all disabled).

Did you have samples in your dat ? This is the only reason I can see.

I'm not sure. It's a new database, created from the latest mame.exe (0.228).
