In terms of what RC does, it really doesnt need to be updated on a frequent basis as its structure doesnt change that often if at all.Anonymous wrote:yes i see, but it is 4 months old (long time for this Beta). will the project continue ? It's a very good utility
MAME's move to xml and therefore Datutil had to be changed to compensate for it to work hence RC 2.70 Beta 2 was released but wasnt a true full update.
As I understand it, Eric the author of RC, is currently working on new features and fixing a few things that a not functioning too well.
I'm sure if you have any new ideas Eric would be willing to listen, there are a few threads on this....just do a search.

The 2.62 isn't a dos program don't know what version you have.Maybe you should check.Romcenter 2.62 works and works well.Personally I can wait and see what evolves next, without pushing an update.I mean really unless it makes me coffee and orders me pizza what's the point, and most of all it is FREE.I'm sure the author got more important matters as well, called REAL LIFE.So if we get an update in six months or so .IT'S OK.Nothing. Nothing was wrong with dos either.
