You may want to read a bit on FC/NES hardware first. This page may answer your question. A mapper name (board name) is just a different way to refer to the same thing (a mapper) and is usually used only when talking about UNIF.ferze wrote:Hi,

That you cannot run the game :-) It has to be clear (to an emulator) what memory mapping controller the game uses. Some games don't use (need) bank switching (page flipping/whatever you name it), but an emulator still has to be informed about that fact.
