Problems with the "generated" kawaks 1.56 romcente

WHEN I USE THE DAT FILE GENERATED WITH KAWAKS 1.56 (tools - generate romcenter dat) THE ROMCENTER DON'T TERMINATE TO LOAD THE DAT AND SHOWS THIS ERROR:

Access violation at address 004AB8CF in module 'romcenter.exe'. Read of address 0000000C

I TESTED IN SEVERAL COMPUTERS AND SHOWS THE SAME FUC.... ERROR...

tested with:
romcenter v2.71
kawaks v1.56
windows xp sp2

The generated data file contains invalid references.

Use mine and it should work fine for you.

mmmm... but in this website:

only is the dat for winkawaks v1.55

all the people need the v1.56 dat.

you should update your site or post the link to download the "correct dat"

One final tip:

You can 'fix' the generated data file by running it through DatUtil...

datutil -f rc2 "<something>.dat"
... then rename datutil.dat

Thank you for reporting the problem, but did you try it with romcenter 3.40 ? 2.71 is old and no more supported.
