Also when the emu path have a space in like: "I:\Emu\mess svn\mess.exe" it complains too

I will check that. It should be linked to mess cause I didn't meet this error with mame.

Mess listxml output is not currently usable in romcenter. There are almost no roms infos in mess games list, only systems datas.

Romcenter is useless with mess. xml games list could be supported in a future version.

Did you import games from thre mame exe or did you use a datafile ?
