Someone reported to me that No Name MAME does not work with RomCenter. I tested it, and it is indeed broken, but I don't knowhow RomCenter works, so I can't fix the problem. Anyone feel like helping me figure this out?

Oh, and I registered here, but I'm not authorized yet.

Could you test if the normal Mame (from http://www.mame.net) still works? If so it would look more like a No Name Mame problem, but i dont have the time to check that for myself.

The version of mame I use (mame32plus 0.81u3) works well.
What kind of errors do you have ?

About registration, does other persons have problems with that ?

Still no account. *shrugs*

Anyways, all I get is "Dat file not created !". And, like I said, I am unfamiliar with RomCenter, so I'm not sure how to fix the problem.

Have you tried to login with the new account? I cannot remember that I got an e-mail that my account was enabled. Maybe I got an e-mail maybe not. I vaguely remember that I could use the new account right away.

Let me repeat the question that the Guest above asked: What kind of errors do you get? If you don't specify the problem (in detail) we cannot help you of course.

That is the only error I get.

And when I try to log in, it says "You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password."

Your account is now active and I fixed the problem for all other users.
I will test the no name mame asap.

Would you mind trying a normal (http://www.mame.net) build and look if it works for you?

The normal flat out mame builds or even compiled ones will import fine into RomCenter. Just NoNameMame doesen't. Keeps saying no dat file created.

I find the solution, replace the datutil.exe in the romcenter with new version from Logiqx homepage, then the problem is gone.

The version of datutil in romcenter is 1.26.
The new version is 1.32.
