rar and ace files

wenever i DL a RAR or ace file and zip it the emulator can never open it, my other ROMS are either .v64 or .rom, how do i change the RAR and ace files to be .v64, .rom or any other working formats

RAR and ACE are types of compression. You will need to first "unrar" or "unace" the files and then zip them.
You can downlaod a shareware version of WinRAR, it handles both ace and rar files, at their site.
