Compiling problems...

Hello Logiqx,

I'm trying to compile your utilities, but no success yet

I wanted to add these changes:

http://www.logiqx.com/Tools/DatLib/BoldItalic.shtml

but I'm having probs trying to compile an unmodified version of datutil too :?

I followed ad litteram the istructions in datlib.txt... I created a structure like this:

c:\logiqx\dev\datlib\src\
c:\logiqx\dev\datutil\src\

typing 'make' in \datutil\, it begins to compile, and creates an \obj\ folder in \datlib\ without reporting any errors... but at the end of the process, no file is created... :? ... and no error message is displayed... :?

I'm using the "standard modified Mingw", modified & corrected to compile Mame... It works fine with Mame, so I assume I already have ZLIB properly installed (am I wrong? :? ). I'm not using UPX.

What am I doing wrong? :?

My fault!

Errr... no problem!

My mistake! I thought you had to download just DatLib to compile all of the utils!!! I actually didn't download DatUtil's source!

I didn't get right the statement "this package is a source only release and is only required if you want to compile any of my tools"!!! :P

Ok, it's good to see that you have sorted your problem. I've been busy at work and not reading message boards. ;)
