I just want to recreate my roms ...
I have 3 folders with diferent MAME Romsets.
I just want to have Romcenter check what i have, and recreate a new folder with all the roms in the corresponding split zips according to MAME 125.
So, do i do ReZip? Fix? Or what? And also, where do i tell RomCenter where i want the new romset to be created?
Thanks.

Hi kwanbis and thank you for posting.
Romcenter actually fix files where they are.
Select a path node and click the fix button. Rc will repair all roms in selected path.
Here what you can do:
Select the node called 'Rom files' and 'fix'. This will fix all your paths. Then, you can safely move your roms to a single path with the windows explorer (you can skip or replace identical files, after the rc fix, they contains the same roms)
(The 'move' shell command will be back in next release)

I think there are a few others that have asked similar questions. Perhaps it would help if a special fix function existed which would "send" the output files to another path (merge rom paths). That way, if i.e. one has some old roms in dvds or he wants to leave the source folders as is, they could be merged in a new HDD path by RC.

Special paths functions will be added later. They are part of a big new set of features which will provide complete ordering possiblities for your files.

By the way, RC is great, i just wish there was a "quick start" guide

Re: I just want to recreate my roms ...
I recommand rc 3. It is now stable.
A quick start is definitely needed, but I need time to do it.

Yes, and this is a good start for a quick start guide.
I will put it as a sticky and add more help when needed.
