Some news on what's going on

Post by RomCenter » Mon May 09, 2016 9:13 pm

Hi all
Long time since last post. Development is still going on, but slower than before. I have other things going on, and I can't spend much time on it lastly. I bought a new laptop for development, a Thinkpad e560. It's finally here and I'm installing from scratch everything needed for romcenter.
The current wip version adds new features like copying and moving files, and also miss/have files.
Some bugs have been reported in the tracking system. I will look at them also for the next release.
Then, I will add the play game feature.
If you need some features, please feel free to post a message or create a feature request in Mantis.

Glad to hear you are still working on it. I was starting to wonder.

Do you think you will move it over to 64-bit with version 4?

It could be compiled in mixed mode (32/64), but you won't see any différences. Why do you want a 64b version ?

I would envision some speed improvements with a 64-bit version.

a 64bits app will not make it run more fast, it will only make it to use more memory.
