Every time I create a new datafile from mame, the rom paths are vanished.
Is there a way to keep them from a previous loaded datafile or do I have to add them all again manually?
Yes, this feature is now available in alpha 6. Use the 'update menu'.
Since CHD's reside in their respective directories, could it be implemented that RC searches 1 path deeper than the given path for roms.
That way, only one rom path is needed for CHD's and every rom in the subdir would be scanned.
As chd can be in any rom folder, Rc search one subdir deep in each folder.
You can put all chd in one folder. Romcenter will check them. If chd are not in subfolder, rc will create one and move them.
Otherwise RC is a great tool. Thanks.
Thank you forl helping improving it
