You could use an external zip tool IIRC like zipmany or ultrazip. Search for a feature to zip multiple files to multiple single archives... than you can recompress them with RC.

IIRC using Clrmame with logiqx dat files and select only CHDs to check and verify at the scanner window (correct me if i am wrong)

I dont know, but what will you do with games that have, say like Raiden II etc only unemulated protection and are flagged like this and what will you do if the games become playable?

But i have no solution besides to do it manually...

Rom changes:

Mame evolves, so it may need more roms of the game / more correct roms (after a redump by a good source e.g.) / different versions become parent set etc. So thats why old, before good, sets become obsolete, bad, incomplete and so on.

Try a rebuild and youll see what you miss and after ...

So first grab the copy from Logiqx.com (left, Datutil).
Its a commandline tool that converts your dats between various formats, mainly CMP/RC.

Enter the commandline in your OS, point it to the directory containing the tool and the dat file that needs to be converted.

I tried just a minute ago to convert JhonIV snaps from Clrmame to RC 2.0 and that worked like a charm...

You surely should read the documentation comming with the Emulator, read the Easyemu FAQ and read the NeoGeo FAQ (links can be found in one of the three top threads here on the board).

The error you got looks like you need to fix your romset, they changed recently and Kawaks adopted this first. So ...

Clones are most of the times nearly the same roms/Games as the Parent (master) Sets of the games.

They are usually bootlegs that are the only working version of the game or older / other language(region) version of the game.

Also a good start is to read the documentation that comes with the emulator.

That does probably mean you have hacked dumps or you use the wrong dat files. But i would bet on some 'Frankenrom' TM shit (sorry).

Go to a 'trustworthy rom site' (Google / Usenet) and get the correct sets. Also some help may be found here:
