Hello,

I have imported the mame 0.98 data (there are the same bug with the older version) and he said Bad roms names for many zip.

For example, for the game "Asuka & Asuka (Japan)"
A rom is named b68-01.rom and in "infos" there are:
"Bad name, correct name is b68-01.rom"
It's the same for the 8 other roms of this games

And a fix games don't change this error.

I agree. I got the same bug for many roms. No way to repair.

Close RomCenter, go to ROMCenter\Cache dir, delete all files, then reopen RomCenter and see if it still happens...

today,

I have launch romcenter again and, this time, the "correct names" have changed and I could fix it.

Hmm... Perhaps the "restart" of the pc helped. It's indeed helpful a lot of times...

I can't see a cache directory in Romcenter - where is it?

That thread is very old and it's for a much older version of RC (probably RC2). RC's design and way it works has changed much over the years, so there's no point in looking in posts that are so old for help in recent versions.
