If i set in Preferences/romsets "Samples in separate folder" RC3.11 need for every "samplegame" an extra samplefile.
Many romsets need the 3 samples bongo1-3.wav, RC3.11 dont find this samples in another samplefile.
Example: 1.zip need samples, then i must have an file called 1.zip with needed samples in samplepath. if this needed samples are in 2.zip, rc3.11 dont find this samples and mark the romarchive in "Datafile/games with samples" as incomplete.

This problem occurs on some games. It comes from mame datafile.
All games using bongo1-3.wav are linked to a sample parent (sampleof) which doesn't exist !
So the link are removed during dat import and samples are not shared.
As long as the mame inconsistency exists, each concerned set must have its own wav files.
For everyone to be aware of what is changed in the datafile during import, the datutil log will be displayed in the next version (3.30).
Next i translate the german text with a translateprogramm and you have much more fun
